Hear from our experienced sales consultants sharing their most favorite memories out on the water.

Brian Highland is a sales consultant with Strong's Marine. His all-time favorite fishing memory was when he was about 18 years old and went offshore with his younger brother. They caught a 150-pound mako shark and did some damage to the boat, but they repaired it. One of his favorite destinations is the northeast canyons, where he does a lot of tuna fishing, specifically big eye tunas. Last summer, they had a trip where they caught nine big eyes out of nine, which was a highlight. Brian's family currently owns a 45-foot fishing boat called the Gusto Four, named after an old beer commercial slogan "go for the gusto."

Drew Lanzetta is a sales consultant at the Southampton showroom. His favorite offshore fishing memory was when they picked a perfect day to go offshore, and they were surrounded by hundreds of dolphins. The dolphins herded the tuna to the boat, and they ended up catching seven fish, with Drew handling the situation while the other person was in the bathroom.

What is a good boat from Pursuit?

Pursuit S428 is Pursuit's largest, most powerful, and fastest boat. It is powered by quad 425s, allowing for quick travel to the canyon and back. Some favorite fishing amenities aboard the Pursuit S428 are the rod holders around the gunnels and on the hard top, ample fish storage, and heating and air conditioning.

The S Series by Pursuit, including the S378, is desirable due to its wow factor. The sleek profile, great ride, and versatility make it a popular choice. The S378, for example, offers plenty of room in the cockpit and is known for having the most space in its class. Pursuit boats are built to yacht quality standards, making them great for entertaining, fishing, and cruising.
