We are dedicated to empowering our female clients and team members, ensuring they feel confident and at ease on the water while providing them with valuable on-water education and hands-on experience. During each session, you will receive a 2-hour hands-on experience on the water aboard one of our fleet boats. Get all your burning questions answered, refine your skills, and take the helm with confidence. Boating Basics  Discover the terminology, functions, and purposes of all onboard items, including safety gear, electronic gadgets, and navigation tools. Sat, April 20, 10am - 12pm at Mattituck Bay Showroom or Southampton Peconic Bay Marina Navigation  Experience hands-on learning about navigation aids, water rules, and anchoring while out on the water. Sat, April 27, 10am - 12pm at Mattituck Bay Showroom and Southampton Peconic Bay Marina. Troubleshooting Discover how to handle changing weather conditions and safely navigate back to the dock when faced with unexpected challenges. Sat, May 4, 10am - 12pm at Mattituck Bay Showroom and Southampton Peconic Bay Marina. Docking Hone your docking expertise, mastering the art of setting dock lines with precision and finesse ("slow and steady wins the race!"). Sat, May 11, 10am - 12pm  at Mattituck Bay Showroom and Southampton Peconic Bay Marina. Women on the Water: History Last year's Women on the Water event hosted by Strong's Marine was a huge success, with a fantastic turnout and high demand leading to quickly filled classes!
