Where are Cruiser Yachts Made?
Cruisers Yachts are made in America! Cruisers Yachts was founded in Oconto, Wisconsin near Green Bay in 1953. In their factory, Cruisers Yachts is proud to have 4th generation boatbuilders.
Strong's Marine became the exclusive Cruisers Yacht dealer for New York, New Jersey and Connecticut in 2019.
Who owns Cruisers Yachts?
Back in 1904, Thompson Bros. Boat Manufacturing Co. started the legacy of a family boat building company in Peshtigo, Wisconsin. Then in the early 1950's the second generation of Thompson's began building outboard cruisers. What then became known as Cruisers Inc., was sold to Mirro Aluminum Company in 1971. In 1979 Roy Thompson retired and for the first time, someone other than a member of the Thompson family ran the company. Shortly after in 1980, Mirro Marine Division was sold to T.J. Bogard and T.A Lisle. which lead . K.C. Stock to identify an opportunity in the company and officially changed the name and purchased the company in 1993.
Now, Cruisers Yachts is owned by Marine Max the world largest yacht retailer and recreational boats.

Cruisers Yachts can range in price depending on if you are looking for a used model or a brand new model. We have seen pre owned Cruiser's Yachts start off at around $550,000 for a vessel that is well maintained and updated. However, Strong's Marine has also seen newer models that exceed 1 million, even 2 million dollars.
