Cruisers Yachts is expanding its VTR lineup with two all new models designed to give boaters more space, more comfort and more ways to experience the water: the Cruisers Yachts 45 VTR and 45 VTR EC.

Following the introduction of the VTR series, the new 45 foot models take the concept to the next level with yacht sized proportions, versatile entertaining spaces and accommodations designed for everything from days at anchor to extended time aboard.

Both models will make their world debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 28 through November 1, 2026.

The 2027 Grady White Canyon 386 brings together serious offshore performance, luxury comfort, and the versatility to enjoy almost any kind of day on the water.

Designed for anglers and families who want more from a center console, the Canyon 386 offers abundant fishing features, spacious seating, an impressive cabin, and the confidence of Grady White’s renowned SeaV² hull. From offshore runs to relaxing weekends on the water, it is built to handle every adventure in premium comfort.

September brings two of the Northeast’s most anticipated in water boat shows. The Newport International Boat Show and Discover Boating Norwalk Boat Show each offer an opportunity to step aboard new boats, compare models, and connect with boating experts.

Strong’s Marine will be attending both events with an exciting selection of boats and yachts. But which show is the right fit for you? Here is what to expect at Newport and Norwalk in 2026.

The Cruisers Yachts VTR series brings a fresh sense of adventure to luxury boating. Designed for boaters who want to cruise, entertain, explore, and enjoy watersports without sacrificing comfort, the lineup combines versatile deck spaces, premium amenities, and confident outboard performance.

The VTR name stands for Venture. Trek. Roam. That adventurous spirit is reflected throughout both models in the series: the open Cruisers Yachts 38 VTR and the enclosed 38 VTR EC.

While the two models share many of the same core features, each offers a distinct boating experience. Here is a closer look at the Cruisers Yachts VTR lineup and which model may be the better fit for your time on the water.

Long Island has always shared a special connection with the water. From protected bays and peaceful harbors to offshore fishing grounds and the open Atlantic, the region offers an incredible variety of boating experiences.

Families can spend a relaxing afternoon cruising the bay, anglers can head offshore in search of their next catch, and experienced boaters can plan weekend trips throughout the Northeast. With so many ways to enjoy the water, it is easy to understand why demand for marine boats for sale in Long Island, NY remains strong.

Whether you are purchasing your first boat or preparing to upgrade, choosing a model suited to Long Island’s unique waterways can make every day on the water more enjoyable.

When financing a pre owned boat, it is easy to focus first on the interest rate. While the rate is important, the length of your loan can have an equally significant effect on the true cost of boat ownership.

A longer loan term can make a boat more affordable each month, while a shorter term can substantially reduce the total interest paid. Understanding this tradeoff can help you choose a used boat financing option that works for both your current budget and your future boating plans.

Shopping for a pre owned yacht on Long Island is an exciting step toward enjoying everything our local waterways have to offer. Whether you're cruising the Peconic Bays, exploring Long Island Sound, going offshore, or spending weekends with family and friends, purchasing a pre-owned yacht can provide exceptional value without sacrificing quality.

At Strong's Marine, we've helped boaters find the right vessel since 1945. As a trusted Long Island boat dealer, we offer an ever changing selection of quality pre-owned yachts, expert guidance, in house financing, trade in opportunities, and factory authorized service to help make boat ownership as enjoyable as possible.

Whether you've owned your boat for a few seasons or many years, there often comes a point when it no longer fits your boating lifestyle. Maybe your family has grown, your adventures have expanded, or you're simply ready for more comfort and capability on the water.

If you've been wondering whether it's time to move into a new boat, here are seven signs it may be the right moment to upgrade.

If you're looking for one boat that can fish, cruise, entertain, and even spend the night aboard, Regal's Sport Activity Vessel lineup deserves a closer look.

Regal pioneered the SAV (Sport Activity Vessel) concept to give boaters the versatility of multiple boat styles in one innovative design. Rather than choosing between a center console, cruiser, or bowrider, Regal created a model that combines the best qualities of each.

Whether you're heading to your favorite waterfront restaurant, enjoying a day at the sandbar, or making an offshore run with friends, a Regal SAV is built to make every outing unforgettable.

Summer on Long Island is all about spending as much time on the water as possible. Between saltwater, sun exposure, pollen, bird droppings, and everyday use, however, your boat can quickly begin to show signs of wear if it is not cared for properly.

The good news is that a few simple maintenance habits can help protect your investment and keep your boat looking its best all season long.
