Destinations & Memories with Regal Yachts
Hi, I'm David Russell, a sales consultant at Strong's Marine. I've been with the company for five years.
What is one of your favorite boating memories?
One of my favorite boating memories with my kids is when my daughter, who is now 20, successfully got up on a wakeboard after countless attempts. Seeing her confidence and pride in herself was truly unforgettable. My son's memorable moment was when he started working as a dockhand at Strong's Marine. Watching him navigate and dock impressive boats with confidence has been incredible.
Where to go boating on Long Island?
In terms of favorite destinations around the Peconic Bay area, I highly recommend Southold Harbor, Goose Creek, Cockles Harbor, Sag Harbor, and Hampton Bays. Long Island offers so many beautiful spots to explore, and we're fortunate to have access to them.
Who owns Regal Boats?
Regal Boats is a remarkable family-owned company ,founded by Paul and Carol Kuck, with over 50 years of experience. Their attention to detail is exceptional, and their latest yacht models, such as the 38 XO, 38 SAV, and the newly designed 36, are truly impressive. What sets Regal apart is the option to choose between outboard and stern drive power, providing versatility and customization for boaters.
What was one of your favorite memories on Regal Boat?
One of my most memorable experiences with Regal was at the Ocean Reef Club during their 50th anniversary. The celebration included a stunning luau on the beach and the opportunity to ride their new boats, including the incredible 38 SAV.
Regal Brand Champion David Russell and Sales Manager Chris Suter at the helm of the all new 38 SAV.
What model of Regal boats stand out?
Among the models, the new 36 XO stands out for me. It's an outboard power boat with unique glass doors, a feature typically found in larger yachts. The design and storage capabilities, with the engines located outside the mechanical space, are truly remarkable. Regal's commitment to innovation and quality is evident in every aspect of their boats.
